New 13,130 Teaching Jobs at Tamisemi - April 2023 Employment

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT FOR HEALTH AND EDUCATION CADRES

The Office of the President, Regional Administrations and Local Governments has obtained approval for the employment of 8,070 Health Cadres for Council Hospitals, Health Centers and Dispensaries as well as 13,130 Primary and Secondary School Teachers who will work under the Authorities of Local Governments.

Therefore, graduates from Higher Education Colleges, Teaching Colleges and Health Colleges recognized by the Government are encouraged to send job applications from April 12-25, 2023. The available job opportunities are for Certificate (Certificate) graduates, Diploma ( Diploma) and Degree.

 PROCEDURES TO APPLY FOR EMPLOYMENT FOR HEALTH CAREERS

Qualified Health Cadre professionals are required to follow the same procedure to apply online through the link ajira.tamisemi.go.tz. Applicants who have previously sent their applications through this system are required to update their information.

2.0 Professional Qualifications of Health Cadre Applicants

2.1 Doctor Grade II-TGHS G

Applicants must have,

i. A Master's Degree in Human Medicine or Phd in human medicine of three or more years from Universities/Colleges recognized by the Government and they have completed an "Internship" of at least one year;
ii. Registration from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika); and
iii. Active license from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika).

2.2 Doctor Grade Il -TGHS E weka

Applicants must have,
(i) Degree in human medicine from Universities/Colleges recognized by the Government and have completed an "Internship" of at least one year;
(ii) Registration from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika); and
(iii) Active license from the Medical Council of Tanganyika.


2.3 Dentist Grade II - TGHS E

Applicants must have,
(i) Degree in Dentistry from Universities/Colleges recognized by the Government and have completed an "Internship" of at least one year;
(ii) Registration from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika); and
(iii) Active license from the Medical Council of Tanganyika.

2.5 Assistant Doctor Grade Il -TGHS C

Applicants must have,
(i) Higher doctor's degree from Universities/Colleges recognized by the Government and they must have work experience for a period of not less than three years;
(ii) Registration from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika); and
(iii) Active license from the Medical Council of Tanganyika.

2.6 Assistant Dentist Grade II - TGHS C

Applicants must have,
(iv) Diploma in Dentistry from Universities/Colleges recognized by the Government and they must have work experience for a period of not less than three years;
(i) Registration from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika); and
(ii) Active license from the Medical Council of Tanganyika.

2.7 Grade B Dentist Il-TGHS 

Applicants will have,
i. Diploma in Clinical Dentistry/NTA level 6 for three years from a Government recognized College;
ii. Registration from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika); and
iii. Active license from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika).

2.8 Physician Class II - TGHS B

Applicants must have,
i. Diploma in Clinical Medicine of three years duration from a College recognized by the Government; and
ii. Active license from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika).

2.9 Assistant Physician-TGHS A

Applicants must have,
i. A two-year Clinical Assistant Certificate (Clinical Assistant Certificate NTA level/ 5) from a Government-recognized College; and
ii. Active license from the Tanganyika Medical Council (Medical Council of Tanganyika).

2.10 Technologist (optics) Grade II TGHS-B

Applicants must be Diploma Graduates in the field of Technology for a period of three years in the field of Ophthalmology from a College recognized by the Government and who are registered with Councils where applicable.


2.11 Technologist(Radiation) Grade II TGHS-B

Applicants must have,
i. Diploma in Radiology (Diploma in Radiology/Radiography/NTA level 6) for a period of three years from a College recognized by the Government;
ii. Registration from the Tanzania Medical Radiology and Imaging Professionals Council; and
iii. Active license from the Tanzania Medical Radiology and Imaging Professionals Council.

2.12 Technologist (Medicine) Grade II TGHS-B

Applicants must be Graduates of a Diploma in the field of Technology of three years in the field of Medicine from a College recognized by the Government and who are registered with the Council of Pharmacists.

2.13 Technologist (Dental) Grade II TGHS-B

Applicants must be Graduates of a Diploma in the field of Technology of three years in the field of Dentistry from a College recognized by the Government and who are registered with the Council of Tanganyika Doctors.

2.14 Technologist (Laboratory) Grade II TGHS-B

Applicants must be Graduates of a Diploma in the field of Technology of three years in the field of Laboratory from a College recognized by the Government and who are registered with the Council of Laboratory Professionals (Health Laboratory Practitioners' Council).

2.15 Nursing Officer Grade II TGHS-C

Applicants must have,
i. Nursing degree from a University recognized by the Government, who have completed practical training (Internship) of one year;
ii. Be registered with the Tanzania Nurse and Midwifery Council; and
iii. Active license from Tanzania Nurse and Midwifery Council

2.16 Assistant Nursing Officer Grade II TGHS-B

Applicants must have,
i. Nursing Diploma (Diploma) from a College recognized by the Government, registered with the Tanzania Nurse and Midwifery Council; and
ii. Active license from Tanzania Nurse and Midwifery Council.

2.17 Nurse Grade II TGHS-A weka

Applicants must have,
i. A two-year certificate in Nursing and Midwifery (Certificate in Nursing and Midwifery/NTA level 5) from a College recognized by the Government and registered (Enrolled) by the Tanzania Council of Nurses and Midwives,
ii. Active license from Tanzania Nurse and Midwifery Council.

2.18 Pharmacist Grade II-TGHS D

All applicants must have,
i. Applicants must have a Pharmacy Degree from a College recognized by the Government and who have completed a one-year practical training (Internship) and who are registered with the Pharmacy Council;
ii. Have a valid License from the Tanzania Pharmacists Council.

2.19 Assistant Standard Technician Medical Equipment Grade II - TGHS 

 Applicants must have a Grade II Technical Certificate from a College recognized by the Government.

2.20 Social Welfare Officer Grade II-TGS D

Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Social Protection, Guidance and Counseling, Theology, Divinity, Child Protection, Social Policy, Early Childhood Development, Social Gerontology, Dietetics or other fields similar to Social Welfare from a College of Higher Education recognized by the Government.

2.21 Technological Officer (Laboratory) Grade II-TGHS C weka

Applicants must have a Health Laboratory Scientists degree from a government-recognized college and are registered with the Health Laboratory Practitioners' Council.

2.23 Physiotherapy Officer Grade II-TGHS C

Applicants should have a Physiotherapy Degree (Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy) from a College recognized by the Government.

2.24 Physiotherapy Il-TGHS Grade B

Applicants must be Fourth/Sixth Form Graduates with a three (3) year Diploma in Physiotherapy/Practical Therapist from a College recognized by the Government.

2.25 Laboratory Assistant Technologist-TGHS A

Applicants must have a Certificate in Health Laboratory Science for a period of two years from a College recognized by the Government and who are registered with the Health Laboratory Practitioners' Council.

2.26 Assistant Technologist Medicine-TGHS A

Applicants must have a Fourth Form Education with a Diploma in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology for a period of two years from a College recognized by the Government and who are registered with the Council of Pharmacists.

2.27 Dental Assistant Technologist-TGHS A

Applicants must have a Fourth Form Education with a Diploma in the field of Dental Technology for a period of two years from a College recognized by the Government and who are registered with the Council of Tanganyika Doctors.

2.28 Optical Assistant Technologist-TGHS A

Applicants must have a Fourth Form Education with a Diploma in the field of Ophthalmic Technology for a period of two years from a College recognized by the Government and who are registered with the Council of Tanganyika Doctors

2.29 Health Secretary - TGHS C

Applicants should have a Degree in Health Services Administration (Health Services Administration) from a University recognized by the Government.

2.30 Environmental Health Officer Grade Il - TGHS C

Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health Sciences and work training from a college recognized by the Government and registered with the Environmental Health Practitioners' Registration Council.

2.31 Assistant Environmental Health Officer Grade II-TGHS B

Applicants must have a three-year Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences from a government-recognized college and be registered with the Environmental Health Practitioners' Registration Council.

2.32 Health Assistant (Environmental)-TGHS A

Applicants must be fourth-year graduates with a two-year training certificate for Health Assistant or Environmental Health Technician from a government-recognized college and registered with the Environmental Health Practitioners' Registration Council.

2.33 Nutrition Officer II-TGS D

Applicants must have a first degree in Nutrition, Food Science and Nutrition or Food Science and Food Technology (BSc -Nutrition, Home Economics and Nutrition, Food Science and Technology, Food Science) or a Higher Diploma in Nutrition ) from a College of Higher Education recognized by the Government.

2.34 Dobi ll-TGHS B

Applicants must have a fourth-grade education who have completed a two- or three-year training in the field of Laundry (Laundry Services) from colleges recognized by the Government.

2.35 Health Assistant-TGHOS A

Applicants must have a Fourth Form Education who have completed a one-year training in the field of Health, Community Health or any similar training from a Health College recognized by the Government.

3.0 GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR JOB APPLICANTS

All applicants must have the following general qualifications:

i. Be a citizen of Tanzania;

ii. He should be no more than 45 years old;

iii. He should have full training certificates of the field he studied (Fourth, Sixth Form Certificate, Profession and full registration (Full Registration) or active license to work in the relevant profession);

iv. He should not be a Government Employee or an Employee of Religious Organization Hospitals whose salary is paid by the Government;

V. Applicants employed with an employment contract from Development Stakeholders in the Health Sector are required to attach copies of the contract and letters of confirmation from the Directors of the relevant Councils;

v. He has never been fired, quit or retired in the Public Service;

vii. Have a National Identification Number (NIDA); and

viii. Attach a copy of the birth certificate.

4.0 IMPORTANT POINTS TO CONSIDER FOR ALL APPLICANTS

i. All applicants should be ready to work in the Councils/Centres they will be assigned;
ii. Applicants should be ready to work with Organizations or Institutions that entered into Partnership with the Government;
iii. After being assigned a duty station, there will be no chance to change the duty station;
iv. All applicants should make sure they fill in their information and attach all the necessary documents to the system; and
V. Employment applications are free.

5.0 GRADUATES WHO STUDY ABROAD

i. All applicants who studied Secondary Education abroad are required to obtain an Equivalent Number starting with the letter EQ... from the Tanzanian Examination Council to enable them to enter the Employment System; and
ii. Applicants who have studied in Universities Abroad are required to get Accreditation of their studies from the Tanzania Universities Commission (TCU) so that their certificates can be recognized and get validity to be used in this country.
