We are currently recruiting for an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion and Anti-Racism Specialist to join our Global People and Culture team. This is an exciting time to join this critical function as we continue to build our Employee Relations & Inclusion team and make progress against our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Anti-Racism roadmap.
Your role will be focused on coordination and implementation of the roadmap, providing support and advice to the functions and management team within People & Culture – Reward, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Operations, Wellbeing, Performance, Organisational Learning and Leadership and Strategic Business Partnering in the Global Hub and across Regional and Country Offices to ensure momentum and accountability through your passion, expertise and influencing ability.
THE REQUIREMENTS
You will be expected to lead, promote, support and embed initiatives towards our roadmap using exemplary communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Experience of implementing and monitoring EDI/ Anti Racism interventions and managing staff led networks is essential in this role as is experience of implementing people aligned processes which recognise and promote intersectional EDI across all aspects of the employee and people manager life cycle.
Location: The location of this role can be flexible where Plan International has an office* that can employ on behalf of the Global Hub and you have the pre-existing right to work and live. If you are based in the UK this will be according to our hybrid working policy which we are happy to share.
Type of Role: Permanent or maximum fixed term contract available as per employing office’s standard terms and conditions.

02. Monitoring & Evaluation SpecialistMonitoring & Evaluation Specialist at Plan International Tanzania
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

ROLE PURPOSE
The position holder for the role of M&E Specialist will support M&ERL technical support to all projects (grants and sponsorship funded),mainly in M&E design, planning, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and PMERL systems inputs and usage , and works closely with thematic leads, grants implementers, field officers, and all related M&E staff in the country office and PUs, including the provision of technical support to project staff, and staff of partner organizations in the areas of monitoring and evaluation. This position has no direct reports.
Technical expertise, skills and knowledge
- Gained through education, training, & experience
- Required experience and Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in International Development or another relevant field preferred.
- More than 5 years of relevant field-based M&E experience, including significant time in monitoring and evaluation for development, research experience is an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of providing training, and in a supervisory and/or management role, in monitoring and evaluation to all levels of stakeholders;
- Experiences in M&E of Education projects, Child protection, projects, and VSLA projects, and youth empowerment Projects.
- Ability to use cost effective and online applications for mobile data collection and data management
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability and willingness to travel within the supported districts
- This position requires high computer literacy with a full knowledge of office applications, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet and statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA, Epi Info and others related packages.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills required.
- Experience with rights based participatory MER approaches including social audits.
- In-depth knowledge of the M&E and preferably minimum 5 years of experience in Non-profit making organisationSkills

This post will drive a transparent, accountable and risk aware culture which supports risk-based decision making to improve our organisational risk maturity. The post holder will deliver a strategy for strengthening risk management across the global organisation including optimising our approach to risk transfer through the procurement of insurance
