ADVERTISEMENT OF JOB OPPORTUNITIES
The Secretary of the Public Service Employment Secretariat on behalf of the National Prosecution Office (NPS) and Government Agencies (MDA'S) and Local Government Authorities (LGA'S) welcomes job applications from Tanzanians with qualifications and ability to fill positions only one hundred and eighty five. (185) as specified in this announcement.
1.0 NATIONAL PROSECUTION OFFICE (NPS)
The National Prosecution Office is led by the Director of Prosecutions who is the Head of the National Prosecution Office. The Director of Prosecutions is the Chief Supervisor of the Deputy Director of Prosecutions, Directors, Assistant Directors, State Attorneys and Prosecutors in carrying out their daily duties.
1.0.1 LEGAL SECRETARY GRADE II-(35 POSITIONS)
1.0.2 JOB DUTIES
i. Receiving copies of Court records related to criminal proceedings;
ii. Keeping a diary of the hearing date, Submitting various documents to the court and the parties concerned;
iii. Monitoring of documents required in criminal proceedings;
iv. Maintaining the files of criminal cases;
v. Receiving the schedule of proceedings (cause listing), preparing the relevant files, and sending them to the Head of Section for assigning the Government Attorneys;
vi. Maintaining criminal case files;
vii. Keeping a Record of Laws and Bylaws; and
viii. To do other work as directed by his Head of work
1.0.3 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Employed Fourth/Sixth Form Graduates with a Diploma in Law from a College recognized by the Government.
1.0.4 LEVEL OF SALARY
Considering the levels of salaries of the Government AGCS 1.1.
2.0 MDAs and LGAs
2.0.1 ASSISTANT AGRICULTURE OFFICER GRADE III-(54 POSITIONS)
2.0.2 JOB DUTIES
i. Collaborate with farmers to run test farms and class farms;
ii. Visiting farmers/groups of farmers in their fields and providing expert advice on the best and modern methods of commercial farming;
iii. To teach and guide farmers on the best use of fertilizers, medicines and agricultural tools;
iv. Collecting and maintaining statistics on the state of agriculture in the Village,
v. Designing and preparing modern crop storage units and providing education on the correct use of crops;
v. Providing information on the signs of plant and crop pests;
vii. To prepare and use the agricultural notebook in carrying out its daily duties:
viii. Participating in the process of identifying development opportunities and obstacles
(Opportunities and Obstacles for Development (O & OD) and prepare a village agricultural development plan (Village Agricultural Development Plan (VADP), and ix. Prepare a monthly implementation report to submit to the Ward Extension Officer and a copy to submit to the Officer Village Executive.
2.0.3 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Employed graduates of the fourth form with a Diploma in Agriculture from colleges recognized by the Government.
2.0.4 SALARY LEVEL
Considering the levels of Government salaries ie TGS B
2.0.5 MATHEMATICS ASSISTANT II (30 POSITIONS)
2.0.6 JOB DUTIES
i. To write and maintain "register" related to accounting activities;
ii. Keeping accounting records;
iii. Sending accounting letters/documents to the Bank; and
iv. To do other tasks in his field that he will be assigned by his Head of work.
2.0.7 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Employed with Accounting Degree Certificate from College recognized by the Government or ATEC I Certificate issued by NBAA or other equivalent qualifications recognized by NBAA.
2.0.4 SALARY LEVEL TGS B
Considering the levels of Government salaries ie TGS B
2.0.5 WRITER OFFICE OPERATOR II-(38 POSITIONS)
2.0.6 JOB DUTIES
i. Printing letters, information and standard documents.
ii. Helping to receive visitors and interview their problems, and direct them to places where they can be dealt with.
iii. Helping to maintain information/memoirs of events, appointments, guests, dates of meetings, trips of his Head and the schedule of other scheduled tasks when needed.
iv. Helping to find and provide his Head with discussions, documents or anything needed in work activities in the office.
v. Help convey the instructions of his Head of work to his assistants and also inform him about any information he has been given by those assistants.
vi. To help receive files, distribute them to the Officers in the area where he is, and collect them, take care of them and return them to the relevant parts.
vii. To carry out any tasks assigned to him by his supervisor
2.0.7 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Recruiting graduates of form IV/VI who attended the Uhajili Training and passed the exam and obtained the certificate of Diploma (Diploma) NTA LEVEL 6. They must have passed the Kiswahili and English Abbreviation lesson 80 words per minute and they must have received computer training in the programs of Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet, E-mail and Publisher.
SALARY LEVEL : TGS C
2.0.8 COOK II (28 POSITIONS)
2.0.9 JOB DUTIES
i. Cooking a variety of foods;
ii. Preparing a list of foods for a complete meal (Balanced Diet);
iii. Ensuring that cooking utensils are clean; and
iv. To perform other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
2.0.10 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Employed IV form graduates who passed the certificate training for at least one year in the field of "Food Production" from a College recognized by the Government.
2.0.11 SALARY:
Based on the Government standards ie TGS C Salary level
GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ALL WORKS.
i. All applicants should be Tanzanian citizens and not more than 45 years of age.
ii. All applicants must attach a birth certificate.
iii. Applicants who are already public servants and have obtained qualifications to enter different cadres than they have, should forward their job application letters to their Employers and the Employers should satisfy themselves accordingly
iv. Applicants should attach a detailed C.V with reliable addresses and phone numbers as well as the names of three reliable referees.
v. All applications must be accompanied by professional certificates, details, copies of certificates certified by a Lawyer/Attorney which are fourth form and sixth form certificates for those who have reached that level and various training certificates based on the qualifications of the relevant work.

vi. Testmonials", "Provisional Results", "Statement of results", document results of the fourth and sixth forms (FORM IV AND FORM VI RESULTS SLIPS) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
vii. Applicants who studied outside of Tanzania should ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA and NACTE).
viii. Applicants retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have the approval of the Chief Secretary.
ix. Job applicants who are already employed in entry positions in the public service should not apply and should follow the instructions contained in Circular No.CAC.45/257/01/D/140 dated November 30, 2010.
x. Submission of information and falsifying characteristics of the parties will be taken legal action.
